Well I must say that after trying for several months and having lost a couple of hundred dollars, I still don’t have an ebook written.
I have found numerous filippino writers who are great at writing articles, but I have not found anyone who could write an entire ebook. So I am beginning to accept that I might need to do most of the writing myself if I want an ebook… Or… Are there anyone out there who knows of a a writer (preferable from the Philippines) and is willing to share him/her?

Strange, So many people have had success with finding writers..I¨m sure you can too! What have been the problems?
I can find alot who can write articles, but I think it is because it is a much larger job. It is easy to write 500 words for a simple article, but when you need to write 100 pages, you need much more structure and dicipline.
It could also be that the research material I provided has been too poor. Either way if you know anyone who can write ebooks please contact me
Too bad Rasmus, how about hiring a person to find a writer for you? Not kidding, you can get a candidate list for screening within a couple of days I’m sure.
Well I have always found good candidates, that is not really the problem. I think that the problem is that I typically give them 50% upfront and an ebook is a big project (larger than the articles most of them write normally)
Hi Rasmus
Just stumbled onto your site through a comment you posted on tims site.
Could be stating the obvious but have you tried elance for your ebook. If you have i would be interested in knowing how it worked for you.
Hi Mat
Thanks for you comment. I would prefer to have one full time employee rather than a project based task (that elance is bet at). But after a couple of failures, I have decided to try this route anyway.
I currently have a task on oDesk (similar to elance). The best thing about oDesk (and elance) is the “escrow” functionality where you pay oDesk/elance and the provider is only paid when they actually deliver. I could have used that on the first couple of writers I found
oDesk, thanks another tool I can add to my kit.
Enjoy the blog so far and good to see some people like myself in europe currently diving into this lifestyle (currently living in Norway).
@Mat: Good luck with the 4 hours
